The moment you solve the problem for yourself and learn to recognize what balance looks and feels like, then you can easily sustain it. There is also a challenging part.
Awards, titles, and wages can all be very impressive but there have also been times when someone has all of this and is not happy, because of its love life. You want to balance work and life so don’t bring work into your life when you’re at home. Success comes when the goals are reached along the way and a life continues to go forward. Along the way there needs to be balance including fun along the way. If a life gets thrown off balance, success also suffers. Success comes from the aspects of life (work, fun, friends, and family) that fills a life.
Twenty four hours. That’s all we get.Yet the amount of work we must try to squeeze into those hours can be mind-boggling. When life is imbalanced, relationships suffer, work performance deteriorates. Potential emotional effects include feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, irritability, and hopelessness.
Not everything is urgent or even necessary. We need to learn to prioritize things. Focus on what’s most important and set other things on the back burner. Some things can be taken off your plate altogether.
Don’t discuss office hassles at home. When you sit at the dinner table, make sure you don’t talk about stressful things especially office. Start by planning to leave the office early one night each week and then slowly incorporate more activities that are important to you.
Sometimes things don’t go as you expect, the best you can do is to plan and implement.
