How Pleasure Works?

What is pleasure and how does it affect our life? Pleasure is being taken seriously and is coming in for scientific treatment. If you think that pleasure is simple – perhaps the good feeling that occurs when things go well and that makes you smile – then what I’m going to tell you next will raise some fascinating questions – whether smile and laughs are really signals of pleasure…

Is pleasure a conscious or unconscious feeling?

Pleasure and displeasure lies at the heart of emotion. It’s not possible to have an unconscious emotion because emotion involves an experience, and one cannot have an experience that is not experienced. Emotions cannot be unconscious because they must be felt, and feelings are by definition conscious.

Hedonic tone is a property of an odour relating to its pleasantness or unpleasantness. Love and fear are emotions that evoke a pleasant or unpleasant hedonic tones.

Pleasure has a big impact on your life. It can influence your mood, your health, your relationship with friends, family and partner, your success!  Pleasantness is the first factor of mood, which is known to influence various cognitive processes.

Pleasure can be very different, it all depends on your dreams, hobbies, habits, and circumstances.

Pleasure is difficult to define or to assess scientifically. Still, evidence has steadily accumulated that pleasure is involved in all aspects of psychology. The simplest sensory experience is tinged with pleasure and displeasure. Some plans for the future involves maximizing pleasure.

There are several secrets of rewarding life, and the power of pleasure is one of them. When it comes to the psychology of happiness, learning how to become a happy person requires you to understand and develop the activities that you find the most pleasurable and know how to use them in order to increase the quality of your life. I have broken up the pleasurable things that make people happy into 2 categories, they are Regular Pleasures and Reward Pleasures.

In daily life, it is important to have a few standard pleasures that are practiced regularly to make life enjoyable but in order to pull yourself towards growing as a person and achieving your greater goals, you need to create reward pleasures that you can only receive once you have earned them.

And i will show you an example of a pleasure. An example of a dream come true – She can break a heart and take all the love she needs, and that’s another pleasure that follows…

Life is built this way – we live from pleasure to pleasure
