4 Tips for a Happy Holiday

The holiday season can be a stressful time under the best of circumstances, but in tough times creating happy Holidays can seem even more challenging.

I like the energy that rises during this time of the year, whether it is spiritual or commercial. We all feel different and we are all affected by the rising energy. Our choice is to be affected with joy or with irritation. I choose joy and Love. After all, what you say, becomes. So, when I say “happy holidays”, I truly wish you a series of happy holidays, with the emphasis on happy. My intention is to have a whole long month of happy holidays with lots of Love and sunshine and blessings.

Here are 4 practical steps you can take, to be happier in the holiday season in tough times and in good times. A lot of stress and anxiety at holiday time comes from unrealistic expectations. These unrealistic expectations are often easy to spot when we take the time to examine them.

Understand and reset your expectations.

Focus on People rather than focusing on Things.

Do Good. (We are often romantically attracted to other people who we see doing good or being virtuous.)
